Introducing: All Things Brooklyn Webcast

What comes to mind when Brooklyn is mentioned around the world?  Many of us remember reading about the beginning of the American Revolution. The “shot heard ‘round the world,” fired in 1775 in Concord, Massachusetts, or the bloody battle at Bunker Hill. But America’s path to independence and the genesis of Brooklynite's swagger began with the Battle of Brooklyn, the first military engagement following the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.  Others like myself, have a Brooklyn narrative featuring a young Biggy Smalls rapping in front of a bodega.  Fast forward to today where most of Brooklyn is experiencing gentrification, thousands of new folks and families are moving to Brooklyn or thinking about it. If this sounds like you, this webcast is what you’ve been looking for.  If you’re interested in the stories of the people of Brooklyn Heights, Coney Island, Crown Heights, Park Slope, Sunset Park and Williamsburg,  you’re going to like us.  “The All Things Brooklyn” webcast hosted by Jose Franco.
